Phantom Franco-K9 MD Light Kit

This kit was custom designed for the 67th MDD out of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. the unit needed a kit to illuminate the dogs and handlers during casualty extraction and mine field clearing. After several test kits were sent "into the sandbox" with great results, this is the kit configuration decided upon by the Command. The Seal Beam lamps are for infrared illumination up to 500 yards away, and can be hand held, or clamped to a Soldier's uniform or onto a vehicle. These lamps can be run either off of a vehicle, or on a SINCGARS battery with the included adapter and carrying case.

Also included in the kit are two Phantom Hawk lights, which are attached to the dog's collar, to keep the animal visible during the job (It can also be secured to a human). All bulbs are 50,000 vibration and shock proof, so there is no replacement required.

This is definitely our most Soldier-developed kit!
