Aviation Community Responding to the New Equipment

After presenting the Phantom Warrior^TM at the Army Aviation Association of America exposition and the Army Life Support Conference, there has been an overwhelmingly positive response to this new equipment. Units at Fort Campbell, Hunter Army Airfield, Dover and Kirtland AFB are replacing their old filtered flashlight systems with the money and life saving Phantom Warrior^TM flashlight. The Phantom Warrior^TM has some great new options specifically for aviators, including a an NVIS green option (for compatibility with most night vision goggles) and the new Inspection Option which gives a full spot light for pre an post flight inspection (for use where NVG security is not an issue.) These combined features make one excellent lighting system. Add the IR (infrared) reverse, and you now have a flashlight that has non-visible light that a "downed crew" can use to signal for help.

If your schedule includes a rotation to the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, you would be well advised to know that the Observer Controllers will be equipped with the latest in flashlight technology-the Phantom Warrior. This forward-thinking training center has made the Phantom Warrior standard issue as it determined that carrying Phantom Warrior flashlights  give the OC's a distinct advantage in the field.   By using these NVG secure color accurate lights they can perform their duties without notifying the participants around them.

This marks the first full scale use of the Phantom Warrior flashlights by a training center.

In a time of cutbacks and budgetary restraints, some evaluators think that this high technology flashlight is one that they cannot afford. This conclusion is false. Commanders can no longer afford to buy filtered lights for their troops!The signature of the Phantom Warrior flashlight falls only in the visible range of the light spectrum and is below ambient moon and star light. The flashlight works with the environment to camouflage the soldier from enemy night vision goggles. Therefore, a soldier can do his job and stay covert from an enemy looking for him with night vision goggles.In addition to staying covert against enemy night vision, the low signature of the Phantom Warrior flashlight allows a soldier to work alongside a buddy wearing night vision goggles and not affect that buddy's ability to see. This feature even works in the interior of a vehicle or aircraft--and is currently being used in the Multiple Launch Rocket System and the C-5, C-130, and E2C aircraft.  The Phantom Warrior produces white light that is not tiring on the soldier's eye, and won't wash out your night eyes.The Phantom Warrior flashlight produces a white light that eliminates the widespread problem of color distortion produced by filtered lights. The Phantom Warrior flashlight combines several colors to produce a white light. This eliminates misread maps, unidentifiable fluids in an engine, or medical misdiagnosis due to poor visibility from filtered lights.
