Benefits of Phantom Tactical Shelter Kit:
  • NVG secure lighting means the enemy will not locate a Marine TOC by naked or enhanced night vision.
  • Our Phantom WhiteR bulbs emit a light signature below ambient moon and starlight, and without infrared light, which means that Night Vision Goggles are not a threat to the security of the TOC.
  • Phantom White light gives clear, accurate representation of all colors on maps and charts.  It does not wash out a user's night eyes.

  • An energy efficient system like this can run on batteries--which allows the Marines to run a silent TOC as well as a non visible TOC. 
  • Solid state bulbs and smart Phantom circuitry give the Marines the durability and reliability they need.  Each individual bulb has a 50,000 hour life and is vibration and shock proof.  Maintenance is minimal.
  • Highly efficient bulbs and circuitry are very easy on a power supply.  Marines will not have to worry about this system depleting the generator's power.
  • Our system is modular, so the TOC crew can run the lights from the generator, the HMMWV, or a SINCGARS Radio Battery--all with a quick connect and reconnect. 
  • Everything is waterproof (of course!)
  • Circuitry does not emit EMF and will not interfere with computers in the TOC.
  • The lights do not generate substantial heat so there is no thermal signature.
  • The lights can be rapidly deployed and removed.
Dangers of not adopting this system:
  • USMC TOCs will be highly visible through enemy NVGs.
  • Marines will waste time and money recharging generators frequently.
  • With the high power consumption of the filtered bulbs, Marines will not be able to power their lights off of a battery, which means the TOC will emit an audio signature.
  • High cost of  replacement for broken and burned out incandescent bulbs.
